Could you please try that downgrade solution and see if it solves this issue for you, using WooCommerce?
If it does, please report back so I can try to confirm and possibly file a bug report.
If it doesn’t, please share your System Information in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
