Submission form in two languages

We have a site that has English and French. Is there a way to add the Community Events Submission Form to the French version of the site and translate the text?

I would love to help you with this topic.

As you might know, we do not offer support for Community Events with WPML yet: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/

But this is totally part of our long term roadmap.

However, some of our customers have achieved such compatibility to a level that is satisfactory to them.

I would recommend reading the following:

Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.

We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

Is there any possible way to duplicate the submission form? Ideally we would like to have an English version of the community add form and a French version of the form. We can then use the “auto duplicate” code. (We don’t care which language the events are submitted)

If this is not possible, can we at least update the fields on the community add form so they are bilingual? i.e. they would include both english and french labels, etc.

Thank you for writing back.

Actually all of our plugins are multilingual, so it is possible to have submission forms in all languages.
The issue is that we do not yet support Community Events with WPML.

So, as stated earlier, for now, this is considered unsupported which truly limits the help I am able to offer.

However, if you are up for it, the links I shared in the previous answer should enable you to get really close.
Especially the use of a wpml-config.xml file.

If you are looking for bilingual fields, you could achieve that via customizes language files for Community Events.
