Stopping Ticket Email with Membermouse/Authorize.net (not WooCommerce)

Hello,

As the title states my issue, I’d like to stop all email going out to customers regarding event tickets. I see there is a solution published for this, however I do not use WooCommerce as my ecommerce provider. I use Membermouse for ecommerce and Authorize.net for credit card processing.

2. Are you already selling tickets through MemberMouse, or have you not yet started actually selling tickets? I only ask because Event Tickets Plus is only built to work with WooCommerce, Shopp, Easy Digital Downloads, and WP E-Commerce. There is no out-of-the-box configuration for or with MemberMouse.

Hello,

Thank you for the fast reply and sorry for the confusion. I am not selling the tickets for a price, they are FREE events. It it sending an automated email with a QR code and checkin info, but they are virtual events that do not require this. I’d like to have this featured turned off.

Thanks for confirming, @annie.

To stop those RSVP emails from being sent, I would recommend adding this snippet of code to your theme’s functions.php file:

add_filter( 'tribe_rsvp_email_recipient', '__return_empty_array' );

☝️ If you’re not familiar with adding code to your theme’s functions.php file, fortunately if you do a quick search online there are a ton of tutorials out there — it’s pretty easy so try it out.

Hi George,

Your solution seemed to work, thank you!

I have another issue related to the previous one. After registering for an event, a message appears saying something that includes “…you will receive an email…” which is now incorrect. Seems like the message comes from a redirect from “/rsvp_sent=1”.

How can I modify that text?

Ah, you are correct that that message will post upon a successful RSVP!

Changing this unfortunately requires a bit more custom code. I wrote another snippet for you here to do so:
