MemberGood afternoon Shanda and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the status wheel not stopping on your site.
I would love to help you with this topic.By the looks of it, you have mixed-content on your site (both http AND https).
This can create several issues (including the one you are experiencing).I would highly recommend installing, configuring and using the following plugin: wordpress.org/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
Geoff B.November 7, 2017 at 1:26 pm #1377311Shanda PETERSON
ParticipantTHanks, Geoff. I have installed and run the plugin to no avail. It’s still spinning the status wheel and it looks like the formatting is gone, too (not due to this new plugin, but something I didn’t write before). Any other ideas?

MemberHi again Shanda,
I am sorry this did not yield better results.
I am noticing that the issue is still not fully solved.More specifically, your header image is still not quite right: “http://windsongintermediateptotx.ptoffice.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/169/2017/07/running-mustang.pn”g should be “https://windsongintermediateptotx.ptoffice.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/169/2017/07/running-mustang.png”
If that does not work, it might mean that there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes.

ParticipantGeoff,
We reverted back to twenty-sixteen with no luck and then I deactivated all the plugins and still no luck. This is happening across all our sites right now (not just the URL you referenced – see also https://ptofficedemoaz.ptoffice.com/), so the URL of that one image isn’t the issue either. I also see that other users are complaining of the same issue. I need to revert back to an old back up point at this time. If this issue gets fixed, please let me know as this most recent build build did fix another issue my customers were having (not seeing events in the last month of a multiple month item. i.e. Event goes from 12/25-1/5 wasn’t being seen in January.

ParticipantCan you tell me if this issue is actively being worked on by Modern Tribe and if/when there might be a fix coming?

MemberGood afternoon Shanda,
I am sorry to hear that the tests and recommendations did not yield better results.
We would love nothing more than to help you fix this issue.
However, we are unable to reproduce the issue at the moment and have found no other reports of this.If there is in fact a glitch on our end, please rest assured we will work on it as quickly as we can. But for now, we still need to find out why you are experiencing this.
For that purpose, I have a couple of follow-up questions:
- Can you tell me if all your sites are part of a multisite install ?
- Are all of your site using the domain mapping plugin ? If so, how is that configured exactly ?
- Would it be possible to setup a staging/test version of this so that I can take a look at it from the wp-admin area ? (via a private reply of course)
- If that is not possible, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your wp-content folder (including theme and all plugins) via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose. Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.
Hang in there!

ParticipantSome replies to your questions…
1) Yes – it is a multisite install
2) Yes – We are using the domain mapping install – here’s a brief video (so I could scroll) that shows all the settings used – https://www.screencast.com/t/EQA5mahui5r.
3) I can get you a test site login. Can you tell me an email address to send this info to?Thanks for your help.

ParticipantI’m having the same issue since updating to the latest versions. The Calendar refused to advance to the next Week/Month and the spinner just keeps spinning.
Please keep us posted on a resolution for this.

ParticipantMy apologies, my issue was due to our own code. Ignore the reply above ^
