GuestHi,
I am investigating this plugin and trying to assess if it is the right thing for my business moving forward to upgrade to the pro version.
So far I have two problems with it that I want to know if they are better addressed in the pro version.
First is that when I open the calendar I always get a spinning wheel. I can only get this to stop if I click around and make different views of the calendar. I would like to know how to keep this from happening – it is a source of some concern for me to use this going forward.
Second is that I would like to know if the pro version has some easy tools for controlling the fonts and / or font size of the different parts of the calendar. Currently the large type is quite large.
Thank you and I look forward to being in contact!

KeymasterHey Kathy,
Thanks for reaching out with your question.
Normally we do not provide technical support in the pre-sales forum, but I can take a look at this issue for you to help you decide whether this is the right plugin for you or not. The glitch you are experiencing is obviously not intended. 🙂
Could you share with me a link to your website / page where you are experiencing this issue?
On your second question regarding the font size: there is no option in the Pro plugin (or any of our premium addons) to easily adjust the font-size. These are usually handled by the theme you are using. You should be able to make adjustments like that with CSS tweaks. For this the following articles in our knowledgebase should be helpful:

Waiting for your reply.

GuestDear Andras,
Thank you for writing me about this issue.
If you go to this page and then click on where it says ‘Calendar’ you =
will see what I am saying. If you go directly to the page the spinning =
wheel might not appear. If you do see the wheel, then click on something =
it can go away. But the wheel seems to always be there when you go to =
the page like this:http://blog11.welltempered.com/marc-olivier-oetterli-2/
I look forward to your thoughts.
Thank you again!!

KeymasterHi Kathy,
I checked the page, I see where you’re coming from.
To me it looks like a theme issue. Could you possibly test it if you are getting the same issue when you switch to a default theme like twentysixteen?
Also, could you please share your system information with me in a private reply?
Here’s a handy guide how you can do that:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/This could help us find the source of the problem.
Thanks and cheers,

GuestCan you tell me if I can safely paste the system information here?

KeymasterHi Kathy,
Thanks for your question. I’m sorry, you can’t safely paste it in here, since this is a pre-sales forum where we normally don’t provide support. Private replies are only available in the Pro forums.
As said it looks like a theme issue to me. It even gives me the feeling that it doesn’t load the design fully. Did you manage to test it with twentysixteen?
If you think it does load the full design and you decide to go with our Pro plugin then our support team should be able to provide you with a CSS tweak that will hide that spinning icon.
I hope this helps and looking forward to see you in the Pro forums.
Cheers,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
