ParticipantWe have an issue occurring on our site where we receive dozens of spam comments in our WP dashboard with author: core:aggregator:invalid-service-key and message “You must enter an Event Aggregator license key in Events > Settings > Licenses before using this service.”
We discontinued our Aggregator license, removed the License number from settings, and checked the “Disable Event Aggregator imports” box in Events > Settings > Imports > Event Aggregator Control settings. Still having one old import trying to run every minute or so. We can see which one under Events > Import > History, but do not have any options to delete/remove those old imports. Please advise.
Same issue described here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-aggregator-creating-spam-comments/

ParticipantThank you. I have added that key and it show valid. But, I still have no delete options from the History tab. Now, even the first page of the History tab is blank, I have to go to page 2 to actually see any existing schedules as well. There’s just no new options to delete or remove any of them.

KeymasterHi Heather,
Can you take a screenshot of where you see that import? Is it a schedule import or a one-time import that is stuck?
Could you also please flush your transients using a plugin like Transients Manager or via server, using WP-CLI? You can flush all of your transients (WordPress will repopulate them as necessary), or just the one associated with our plugin: “tribe_aggregator_origins”.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Heather,
Okay I see. Can you re-connect your Facebook API (with the temporary license enabled) and then delete the import?
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
