Sorting on the homepage does not work anymore

Hello Team,
after the update to

The Events Calendar Version 4.6.14.1
The Events Calendar PRO Version 4.4.25

the sorting of the events by date on the homepage does not work anymore.

I had the “Order events in main blog loop by post date” snippet built into functions.php.
But after the update the sorting does not work anymore.

Order Events by Post Date in the Main WordPress Post Query

Tested with the themes twentyfifteen, twentyseventeen and twentysixteen.

Thanks so much for providing that information.  We are currently aware that the snippet is no longer working and we are currently reviewing that information.
