Sort \\\\\\\"Next Events\\\\\\\" ascending

I need to sort the paginated events to list nearest event at the top and the furthest away event at the bottom
(View when u click on the “Next Events” or “Previous Events” at the bottom of the above link)

How do I set the settings to show the soonest event at the top?
