ParticipantHello,
I need help with my Calendar Month View.
1) I had changed some months ago the TITLE leaving just the words for MONTH & YEAR but now the TITLE IS COMPLETELY GONE. I did’t move, write or change anything on the script once the help desk gave me (Victor, post 5495). The code is on WP-admin > Settings > PHP Inserter. I need you to help me to get back the title please.
I think probably is a timezone problem or date format that isn’t anymore working with the code, I don’t know really.
2) Another issue is that, I had disappear the link down the Month View for +EXPORT EVENTS because I don’t wish to have this option on the view. Now it has appear again but I don’t know why. I wish you to tell me how to take it out.
3) Another request is that, I WANT TO DISABLE the option when people click on each day of the Calendar and then the Calendar sends the view to another page.
4) Another request is that, I DON’T KNOW OR DON’T GET TO LEARN how to write some information on each day and this information ACTUALLY CAN BE SEING on each day of the Calendar. I tried to do it but it doesn’t appear on the view.
We can resolve these problems one by one, I just mentioned all not to forget them later on.
Thank you very much,

KeymasterHi Milla,
Thanks so much for reaching out again!
Let’s start off with the first issue, as we like to keep it to one issue per thread in order to make sure that everything is clearly addressed individually.

If you temporarily remove the custom code, does the title return as expected?
Also, can you update your Events Calendar related plugins to the most recent versions and see if that helps?
If that doesn’t work, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes. You will want to clear your browser and site cache as well after doing this.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantHello,
1) I already set STOP and save changes to the code, then START and save changes again but nothing changed on the month view. The title DIDN’T COME BACK.
2) I already updated all plugins that needed to be updated but nothing happened. The title DIDN’T COME BACK.
3) I already went to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes. Then I emptied caches, cleared history at my laptop/computer but nothing happened again. The title DIDN’T COME BACK.

KeymasterHi Milla,
As a next step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
In the meantime, I’d recommend taking a look at your stylesheets and page templates and see if altering these settings helps you to achieve the results that you are looking for:

Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
