    Site is experiencing transitent errors, when reviewing error_log, you find the following two entries:

    [14-Sep-2015 12:32:16 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 45 seconds exceeded in /home/newhopechurch/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 2542

    [14-Sep-2015 13:02:46 UTC] WordPress database error Deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction for query UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = ‘1’ WHERE option_name = ‘_transient_tribe_events_pro_processing_batch_2712’ made by do_action_ref_array, call_user_func_array, Tribe__Events__Pro__Recurrence__Queue_Processor->process_queue, Tribe__Events__Pro__Recurrence__Queue_Processor->do_processing, Tribe__Events__Pro__Recurrence__Queue->set_in_progress_flag, set_transient, update_option

    Hi @cacpro,

    Thanks for reaching out to us, and sorry to hear about this issue you are experiencing 🙁

    Searching our forums for some similar report I’ve found this recent thread on the same subject. Apparently this is related to the recurrence creation script failing to perform big batches of events.

    Do you think this might be your case too?

    Please let me know and I’ll try to work this out with you,
    Best,
    Nico

    PS: this thread could also relate to your issue.

    It is likely that recurrence is the issue. What do we need to do to address this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi @cacpro,

    Thanks for getting back to me on this. Hope we can make it right soon!

    Can you identify the event that might be breaking this up? Hopefully it’s just one event with a ‘long’ recurring series. In the error description you sent over it reads ‘_transient_tribe_events_pro_processing_batch_2712’, this indicates it’s the batch for event with ID = 2712. If you can find this event try to delete it and create a smaller recurrence series. Maybe you can divide the series in two different events.

    You can also try to lower the value of ‘Create recurring events in advance for’ in WP-Admin > Events > Settings > General, it might help to prevent this error in the future.

    Please let me know how this goes,
    Best,
    Nico
