Is the event content too wide and pushing it down? Here’s an example:

Hi Chris

Does this happen when you change to a default theme, such as Twenty Seventeen? See our Testing for Conflicts guide.

Also, can you test how your page looks when you change these settings: Events » Settings » Display » Default stylesheet used for events templates & Events template.

Let me know if either of those fix the issue.
