Showing featured events

On the homepage of a website we would like to show 3 events from left to right just as you would with featured blog posts. Each would consist of an image, title, description and link to the full event detail page.

It would be a similar structure to the blog posts you can see on http://www.entrepreneurshub.co.uk/

Would this be possible?

Unfortunately, that is about all we can provide for customizations and can only support features as shipped with the plugins.

I can try to help answer some questions to get you started, but not much more beyond that.
