Showing a Map with all Organizers

Hi there…I saw this previous thread which allows you to list all organizers on one page (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/venue-organizer-views/). However, my clients worldwide need both a full listing of organizers (in text, like a directory) and also they need to be able to find Organizers by the map or geographical location tools, not Venues. Is it possible to do this?

Great questions–let’s try to break them down a bit.

While the plugin doesn’t currently support a page that lists all Organizers, it’s certainly possible to make one, using the method suggested in the thread you mentioned in your question.

Basically, you would duplicate your theme’s page.php file (or any other page template), then replace the loop in it with the snippet provided in this example.

Unfortunately, this one is not possible. Organizers by the themselves do not include and geographical information like Venues do, which means there is really no way to place them on a map.

Thanks Geoff! Yes, it helps to know that it’s not possible to do the map. I will fiddle with it some.

A suggestion: I think your plugin is amazing and I’d love to see a DIRECTORY integration of some sort for folks who use the Community Events product with Pro…so that all the contributors can be listed and sorted thru by geographical location and/or just as a text list. It would really make sense, given what users may be looking for (something or someone nearby!) in a network of coaches like mine.
