Show live list of Attendees under Event

Hi!

Is it possible to show a list of attendees who have RSVP-ed for an event somewhere under the Event details? So that people thinking about whether to attend have an idea who else is coming? This is for a site running networking events.

Is this feature available for standard Events Calendar or the Pro version or neither?

Sorry, I meant Event Tickets or Event Tickets Pro of course! Or can this be achieved with Eventbrite Tickets either?

Hey Carolin,

Great question! There is indeed a feature in Event Tickets Plus. In fact, there’s an option to show a public list of attendees for a given event when creating tickets for your events and, when enabled, will display the folks who have registered below the event description. Here’s a screenshot how that looks.

Hi Geoff – thanks for your reply! From your description it sounds like it would meet my client’s requirements but from the screenshot I’m not sure. It just says 2 people are attending then there’s one photo. It doesn’t give any names and what happens when users don’t want to use photos? I am just looking for a list of actual attendees names. Or is this a matter of configuration?

Also, I assume the same functionality is available where we just set up RSVP rather than paid tickets?

Hi Carolin,

Sorry, that was a bad screenshot I provided of an event I had been testing for something else. I had purchased two tickets in separate purchases, which is why it said two people were coming but only one person was displayed below — totally a bad representation!

The rest, however, is accurate and pictures are used instead of names. I do believe it would be possible to change that to a list of names instead, but it would take some custom development to achieve.

And, yes, the same functionality is the same with RSVP as it is in sold tickets. 🙂

🙂 No problem at all re- the screenshot! Can you send me a PM/email with an estimate of what the customisation might cost so that I can put this to my client to decide on whether they can live with the photos or prefer just the names?
