Show Calendar function

I am not able to embed the calendar in my pages.
I need a way to show it in the home page, for example.

What is the function / shortcode / way to do it?

Hi,

Thanks for using our plugins. We do not have a feature to embed the calendar in other pages by shortcode or any other method.

However, there is the Event Rocket Plugin an unofficial plugin maintained by some of our developers that has a way to show the main calendar on the homepage.

That might get you what you are looking for.

Hello Brian,

Sorry to insist, but i am a bit confused.
You are appearently the leading wordpress calendar plugin, so someone should have had this need before.
As simple as draw_calendar(‘week’) here and draw_calendar(‘photo’) there… (that’s how the designs i got look like).
Maybe it is not so simple, but no one has ever tried? Any further info?

The plugin you mention converts the home page into an archive pag, so it is no good for theming.

Unfortunately, it is not that easy to build a shortcode for all our views. We are looking at months of development to do it and fit it in with our large code base.

It is something we are looking to do, but we do not have anything else for you on this right now nor a timeline when it might happen.

You maybe interested in starting with the beta for 3.10 which we are hoping to release later this week as it does a major refactoring of the coding. We hope now this puts us in good position to move forward with shortcodes and other custom views.
