I found some code that supposedly shows all the dates for all the recurring events here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/recurring-events-list-in-single-event-page-solution/
I altered this code to make it look how I want here: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/ede4b840712a08d1c12573e066b2e25d
We usually have only 2 recurring events in a series and I have 2 problems.
1. There is an event that shows up that is the current date/time that is not in the backend and I can’t seem to find the part in the code that makes it show up.
2. The recurring events don’t show the first event.
Here is an example of the first event: http://inventivewebdesign.com/renophil/event/classix-four-star-wars-the-music/2018-02-11/

Thanks for reaching out!
First, I do want to note that we are not able to assist with customizations like this per our forum guidelines. However, I took a look at your code and tested it out on my site…It looks like you’ve removed the section from the original example that would have included the main event on subsequent (recurring) event pages:
Your code (only echoes the children):
foreach ($children as $child) {
if($post->ID != $child->ID){ ?>
Original example:
$parent_title = get_the_title($parent); ?>
Try adding this back in and see if you get the main event.
Regarding the extra event showing up, I was not able to recreate this on my end…could you send a screenshot of your recurring event settings for this event? I’ll be happy to take a look and see what I can recommend!
Thanks,
Jennifer
