GuestHi Guys
Just wondering. I had a license with you but I let it expire unfortunately.
I was thinking of renewing and I am comparing my options.
I am wanting to sell various events that may be online and virtual webinars.
Can I send a link to access a webinar and instructions in the automated email when a customers purchases an event?
Is there any chance that you offer discount codes to renew my license?
Thanks

KeymasterHi Gregg,
Thanks so much for reaching out again!
You can customize the email that you send to customers with any additional information that you’d like. This template can be found at /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/views/tickets/email.php. Our themer’s guide has some great info on customizing our templates, so I would definitely recommend taking a look there if you would like to edit any of our emails!
You can always check for discounts here.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

GuestHi Jaime
I have looked through the themers guide and I can’t find anywhere where it shows me how to edit the template. I want to be able to add on extra information to the ticket. Ie what to bring, also if I want to provide a link to access a webinar. This information would be unique for each ticket. Is there specific instructions on how to do this?
Thank you
Gregg

KeymasterHi Gregg,
Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.
You can inspect this template in your files: /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/views/tickets/email.php and copy the template so that updates to the plugin will not affect the changes that you have made.
You can then edit that template and add in the additional information you are looking to add.
You may also be able to create custom email templates with the help of a third party plugin, like this one.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
You can also vote on this idea in our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
