GuestI’m trying to figure out which set of plugins would be the best for selling inscriptions for courses through WooCommerce.
These courses are presential and often last several days, but the attendants don’t need to stay all of them. We also only want to make them pay a reservation fee (no matter the amount of days they stay) so they can pay the rest in cash.
So I’m also searchig for something that enables people to make a reservation for a few days, pay the reservation fee (let’s say 50€) and then limits the ability to make a reservation on a full day, and maybe show which days are still bookable on a calender.
I was wondering if Event Tickets Plus is the right plugin to count on.
Thanks for an answer!

MemberHi Raphael,
Good question! I’m afraid that Event Tickets Plus does not currently support subscriptions. It does allow people to purchase a ticket for an event, but that ticket is only good for a single scan at the door.
You could manually check people in for an event that lasts several days, but Event Tickets Plus itself only recognizes tickets for a single event with a set start and end date range.
I think deposits for tickets might be possible, but it wold have to come through WooCommerce instead of The Events Calendar. For example, this WooCommerce extension appears to allow people to make a partial payment on a purchase.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

GuestThanks a lot for the fast answer. Yes you answered my question. I think I’m going to figure this out, the events we manage are not too big so we can do a part manually without getting overwhelmed, it just would be super cool to manage everything through the plugin. But even if this is not possible maybe Events Ticket Plus remains my choice.
Cheers

MemberYou bet — happy to help as best I can and hope I’ve helped make your decision a little easier.
Do note that we have a great refund policy that allows you to return any products within 30 days of purchase, should you decide you want to try Event Tickets Plus and give it a test drive.
In the meantime, I’ll go ahead and close this thread but let us know if any other questions come up and we’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!
