Search results as LIST VIEW not working + looking for filtering as checkbox

Hey there,
i have been trying to change the search results to show as a list and not as a monthly view (which shows the show only if it occurs the same month)

i have found a snippet which does not work in my case:

could you please help?

I would also like to know if the filters bar could fix my issue with filtering, as right now i use the category color and it doesnt work by filtering with checkboxes.

if so, i will purchase it as well

As for your question about Filter Bar, you can use checkboxes for your filters.  Check out our demo site to see it in action here.

Hi Erez,

It sounds like you are looking to have the filter bar in its open state at all times.  If so, you are welcome to try out this snippet and add it to your theme’s (or child theme’s) CSS stylesheet:

In addition, you may want to make sure that your Events Calendar related plugins are up to date, to ensure that everything is running optimally.

Hey Jaime thanks for the assitance,
I’ve updated everything related to the events calendar plugins etc…
yet the snippet to search as list view still does not work.

I have tried the filter bar css hack and it does work, but i have no way of choosing which categories to filter, i have some extra event categories i don’t want to be in there.

Hi Erez,

To address your first issue, I also tried that snippet and it did not work for me either.  Alternatively, you can try adding the following jQuery code to your site’s Javascript:

As for your Filter Bar issue, would you mind taking a screenshot of your filter bar, and pointing me to what you would not like to display, so that I can get a better sense of what you are referring to?
