Search not checking venue city field?

Hi,

when I search for “Wangen” the result list shows only two events (both contain “Wangen” in the description or in the organizer name or organizer website or event website.

– http://www.treffpunkt-jazz.de/event/sabine-essich-d-cd-release-konzert/
– http://www.treffpunkt-jazz.de/event/trio-infernal-tangarta-akkordeon-jazz-von-piazzolla-bis-rage-machine/

But it doesn’t find this event, even the city of the venue is “Wangen”:
http://www.treffpunkt-jazz.de/event/toughest-tenors-schlaegt-das-herz-des-hardbop/

For me it looks that the city field of the venue is not searched.

I see you said “Yes” to both reverting back to the default WP theme and Deactivated all other plugins, but can you just please confirm that for me? Additionally, would you mind responding back with your System Information as a private reply?

Welcome back, Oliver.

I’ve just spent a decent amount of testing on numerous testing sites as well as your site. It appears we are not including the venue location in the events search query. With that said, I’ve gone ahead and logged my findings and attached this thread for the developers to reference. Stay tuned to your wp-admin and theeventscalendar.com/blog for maintenance release info.
