ParticipantHi there,
I am encountering issues with the search functionality. At times it works then it doesn’t (within a span of minutes) and when there are no results it says return to full calendar of events but there’s no link. Not sure where the user would click to clear their search.
You may test it here: http://baav2.bostonartsacademy.org/baav2/events/category/school-calendar/
Any ideas?
Many thanks,
Yara (License Holder’s Web Developer)

ParticipantI’d also like to add that the names of days (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) are not truncating on mobile to Mon, Tue, etc. the way it does on your demo.

ModeratorHi and welcome back 🙂
I would be happy to investigate these issues with you! As an always recommended first step, can you please review our Testing for conflicts guide to see if we can narrow down the source of conflict? Let me know your findings and we’ll go from there.
Thank you for choosing PRO and have a wonderful rest of your Wednesday!

ParticipantHi Hunter,
Thank you to you and your colleagues for answering all my questions. I tried switching themes and it appears to solve the issues I mentioned which means there is something happening with our custom theme. I am not sure where to go from here. I can attach a screenshot of the console errors that appear. I also tried renaming our theme override css from tribe-events to tribe-events-bak.
Many thanks,

ParticipantApologies for all the messages. I seem to have narrowed the problem down to the enque function in my funtions.php. More specifically, it is the line that adds the jquery from the Google library:
wp_enqueue_script(‘jquery_script’,’https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.2.2/jquery.min.js’,array(‘jquery’));Is there any way around this?

ModeratorThanks for your patience while I did a bit more research. It looks like you could add a conditional around the enqueue script you shared in your previous answer. This is a good resource for conditionals too 🙂
Best of luck getting the two to play nicely and please note that we’re limited on the support we’re able to provide for theme and/or plugin conflicts, so you’ll need to take it from here. Thank you for understanding and have a good upcoming weekend.
