ParticipantWhen I look at the RSVP tickets available on the event it is showing a wrong number. It is currently showing 225 out of 300 available, but there are actually 245 available as we have sold a total of 55 tickets. Do you know why this number is not updating correctly on the event page and how we can go about fixing it? Most importantly is the RSVP going to show as sold out if it sells 225 more or 245 more?
I have cleared the cache and that does not seem to be fixing the issue.

KeymasterHi Rachel,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Do you have any users that have changed their status from Going to Not Going? This may account for the discrepancy.
Can you take a screenshot of how this event looks on the backend, as well as a screenshot of your Attendees tab on the backend?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantWe have two different RSVP’s set up. One is for 200 rsvp’s and that one has 200 RSVP’d and is closed. The other is for 300 available RSVP’s and that one has 55 RSVP’d. In the backend the “Total RSVP” number is correct, it says 255.
In the “attendee by ticket area” for the priority tickets, it says 55 RSVP’d (which is correct) 255 available (Which is not correct, it should be 245). This is also showing this way on the front end as well. (See the attached screenshot)June 14, 2018 at 4:40 am #1553175Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Rachel,
Thanks for providing me with that information.
Can you also take a screenshot of how the RSVP and event are set up on the backend, so that I can try to replicate things on my test site?
In the meantime, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
