When my users are logged in, the toggle attendee information button is not shown, on the page /ticket/ for the event, as shown on the attached screenshot. How can I enable this?

I would also like to send an event reminder a certain time before an event, is that possible?

And last, can I export the emails, or send emails, which are not reminders to the attendee through your plugin?

    Best regards

    Hi Jonas!

Thanks for taking your time to report this.

I have been able to track down a report for this issue and I can confirm this is a bug we are already looking to fix.

I will change this thread’s status to “Pending fix” and link it to the bug report so we can let you know once the fix is shipped in one of our maintenance releases.

We apologise for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.

    Best,
    Victor

    Hi Jonas!

Thanks for following up with this.

I cannot commit to a release date at this point, as it’s in the development hands. But stay tuned! If you are up for it, there is a manual way to make it work.

You will need to override the orders-edit-meta.php template to make that happen. You can learn more about overriding calendar templates in our Themer’s Guide, but it basically boils down to this:

    • Make a copy of the orders-edit-meta.php template. It is located at wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/views/tickets-plus/orders-edit-meta.php
    • Make a new folder in your theme called tribe-events
    • Make a new folder in that one called tickets-plus
    • Drop your copied orders-edit-meta.php file in that last folder and completely replace the code in it with the one below:

    https://gist.github.com/vicskf/8a6e772c839e3fcdcd8e84faac8589f7

Please let me know if that works for you.

    Thanks,
    Victor

I have now tried to as you described, but unfortunately it does not work… Therefore, I have deleted it again… Was it supposed to work, when done as above? In that case, what can I have done wrong?

The bug fix, is that days, months or even years we are talking about?

    Regards

    Hi Jonas!

I’m sorry that didn’t work for you.

By having a closer look at the screenshot you shared, I can see the “+Toggle Attende info” link is visible. Just to confirm we are not dealing with a different issue, are you able to see that link? If you see it, does it display the attendee info when clicking?

If you don’t see it, please make sure that you placed the orders-edit-meta.php file in the right folder. It should be something like /wp-content/themes/YOUR-THEME/tribe-events/tickets-plus/orders-edit-meta.php

Maintenance releases are scheduled every two weeks. You can learn more about it > https://theeventscalendar.com/release-schedule/

Bearing in mind that we can’t commit to a date, I can tell this report is marked as a high priority one, so you should expect a fix in a few weeks.

    Best,
    Victor

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
