Require input before adding to cart

    I applied the code from this documentation to my site – https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/require-input-before-adding-to-cart/#dl_post-1396610.

    But for some reason it’s not working correctly. I can still click the “Add To Cart” button when there is no ticket number in the input field. Is this function code support to require an input?

    You are correct, that snippet does not appear to be working.

    You can try adjusting the quantity input values through WooCommerce, using the following snippet:

    Hi Jaime,

    Yes, this code does work…although it does create a new issue for another event I am going to be creating which will have multiple tickest available for that event “Child Admission, Adult Admission, Senior Admission, etc.). This snippet from WooCommerce will now auto input a quanity of 1 now in each of the ticket fields. It would just be nice to have something in place that when you click the “Add to cart” button that a function runs that ensures that at last one of the ticket fields has a value greater then 0 before allowing you to move onto the cart page.

    I understand what you mean, however I don’t have another WooCommerce snippet to achieve this functionality.

    You may want to try reaching out to WooCommerce to see if they have any suggestions here.

    If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:
