Hi there – just bought the EventBrite tickets add-on and I am unable to get passed the Event Api Get Authorization stage. Once I’ve created the app in Event Brite, then inputted the settings into the API tab within WordPress, I save changes, click get Authorization, redirects to EventBrite ‘Allow vs Deny’ I click allow and then taken to a URL Not Found page. // The requested URL /tribe-oauth/eventbrite/ was not found on this server.
How do I fix this issue? I’ve tried deleting the app and creating new ones. I’ve tried deleting both Events Calendar Pro and EventBrite plugins but still not working??

Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums! I’m sorry you are having an issue, let me help you with this.
Could you send me a screenshot of your Eventbrite app settings? What did you put in the OAuth Redirect URI field? In that field you need to have the full url ending with /tribe-oauth/eventbrite , so something like this:
http://www.yourdomain.com/oauth/eventbrite
Let me know if this helps.

I did some further testing which shed some light on things.
What are your permalink settings? Based on the first screenshot you sent me it looks like you have them set to Plain. That could easily cause this issue, and then /tribe-oauth/eventbrite will not be found.
Please try to set your permalinks to Post name under your WordPress Settings > Permalinks. And although this might not cause an issue, in the EventBrite application settings put only the core domain name and remove the ?post_type=tribe_events just to have it clean.
Give this a try and let me know how that works out.

Could this be the issue?
Thanks,
MarioSeptember 22, 2016 at 1:19 am #1167278AndrasKeymasterHi Mario,
Thanks for reaching out!
Even if you don’t see http in your browser window, it is there (should be there) as that defines the protocol (HyperText Transfer Protocol) that is used to transfer data between the server and your browser. So when you fill out the settings on Eventbrite, do include http:// at the beginning of the website address.
If the problem still exists, I would kindly like to ask you to open a new topic in our pro forums with your issue. This helps us keep the support forums clean and you can get the dedicated support you deserve. 🙂
To speed up support, please share your system information with us when you open the new topic (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/), as well as share a screenshot or two of your Eventbrite settings that you think are causing an issue, along with a discription.
Thanks and cheers,
