repeating events not working

We have now for the first time added some repeating events to our calendar… and it’s not working. When clicking on them in the front-end calendar, they result in a Post not found error.

I know that every time the calendar gets updated, I need to set/resave the Permalinks again, to avoid this error. But in this case, the repeating events are not working.

plugin and add-on version: 4.1

I must say I’m getting a bit disappointed in the quality of the plugin. I don’t know if we have some sort of special issue, but we already ran in so many issues that make the calendar (temporarily) unusable. We have no invested in 3 premium add-ons and wish to continue using The Event Calendar. So any suggestions are welcome.

Hi Bart,

I’m sorry we let you down but we’d love to help with this latest issue if we can.

In the first instance, can you try upgrading The Events Calendar to 4.1.0.1 (just released!), then resave permalinks, and see if the problem is resolved?

If it is still problematic, could you reply with:

• Some notes on how to locate one of these recurring events (I can’t see any on page 1 of your main events page)
• A copy of your system information, which you may prefer to share via private reply
