Reoccuring Events keep adding.

Trying to get a reoccuring event added, yet after approx 2 months of creating the instances, it goes wild and starts adding in about 36 events per day/per instance, it doesn’t stop until I de-activate the plugin, then I have to go have and trash the hundreds of reoccuring events… NOT COOL!!

PLEASE HELP! Has anyone had this issue? It’s a big deal on the project I’m working on to have the re-occuring events..

Hello, I would like to mention that today I attempted the same thing and an event got hung up on a future date (Sept. 1) and kept generating new copies of the same event. I both changed the the recurring ‘end date’ to tomorrow and trashed the ‘all’ version of the event in an attempt to get the operation to stop in the background. I’m sure which stopped it, but I had ~1500 events in my trash that ended permanently deleting. I then recreated the event as new which suffered the same problem. It hung up on Dec. 1 (The event is set to recur Thursdays until the end date). I then tested only changing the end date (I set about a week prior- Nov. 25). This automatically removed the delinquent events save one.
