Hi, a few weeks ago I raised a query about whether our non-renewal had broken the plugin in terms of displaying attendee metadata in the admin view pointing to another support thread where someone was experiencing the same issue (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/has-non-renewal-broken-our-ticketing/ was our original thread).

Having tried various things to try and resolve the issue (and identified where in the database the information has been captured, so at least now having a way of retrieving it) I decided I would have to pay for the plugin.

I’m pleased to say that the attendee metadata now displays against new orders but the information is still missing on previous orders.

The metadata is also not being passed through to the confirmation email as it was previously. We rely on this to simplify the auditing of orders with other members of our team who can administer tickets without needing to access WordPress.

With that context set I’m hoping you can help with 2 specific queries.

    1. How can I get the metadata, which has been captured to the database, to appear on the admin backend. We haven’t been able to work out why the ‘view details’ link displays the data held inside wp_postmeta > _tribe_tickets_meta for only some of the attendees when we’re looking at /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events&page=tickets-attendees&event_id=.
    2. How can I get that same information to be included in the emails which are generated when someone makes a purchase?

Both of these things were working until we did an upgrade of Event Tickets out of step with Event Tickets Plus (because we had not renewed the licence as had understood that wouldn’t be a problem). We subsequently rolled back Event Tickets to the same version as Events Tickets Plus (which was 4.4.2).

I forgot a third need (though it’s an extension of request 1), and that’s for the metadata to appear in the exported list of attendees. It is behaving in the same way as the admin screen.

OK, I’ve been able to edit the database to include the metadata which had been missing. Although the _tribe_tickets_meta was being captured in the order, it hadn’t been added to each ticket.

That resolves query 1 and 3 and suggests that renewing the licence has been helpful in correcting whatever bug existed in the version we had at the point the licence expired.

However, we still aren’t getting the necessary information in our emails and hope you can help us with that.

    Thanks
