Viewing 3 posts - 1 through 3 (of 3 total) Author Posts June 25, 2016 at 9:23 am #1131889 dealerdanParticipant Currently the links look like /events/category/sports/ And we want them to look like /events/sports/ We couldn’t seem to get that to work so I tried renaming “category” by following this – https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/problem-with-permalinks-trying-to-get-domain-events-city-event-format/ – but that also didn’t work. So is there a way to simply remove the “category” slug? If not is there an updated way to rename it? I know I’d asked this a couple of years ago but wondering if any updates in regard to this. Trying to point you in the right direction, you may need to override code in /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Rewrite.php You might also be able to accomplish this via an .htaccess customization. If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our list of known customizers.
