Remove "None" Default from PRO Additional Fields

Is there a way to remove the None option that automatically gets added to radio button and dropdown custom fields? I see this support topic but no clear resolution: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/additional-fields-set-default-value-other-than-none/

As Barry noted in that thread, there’s no easy way to achieve this at this time 🙁

The simplest way would be to customize plugin templates outright, which is a custom-coding project. We unfortunately can’t help with custom code but you can see this Knowledgebase guide to get an idea of the process → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

Otherwise, I would echo Barry’s original recommendations in that thread and post this as a feature request on our UserVoice page → http://tribe.uservoice.com/

The best solution for this was provided in this support topic. The Advanced Custom Fields plugin has absolutely everything I want out of custom fields including and especially the ability to apply the fields conditionally based on post type (so they only affect Event posts).
