Remove event time from displaying

Hi,

On the home page under upcoming events I would like to have the option to remove the event time from displaying on selected events so that i can just have it say
may 29th – june 3rd

then people will be able to click on the more information to see what time the event is each day as it changes day to day.

if there is simple code i can add in to the event, or an easy solution, to stop this displaying on select ones that would be great

This is a great question.
I would love to help you with this topic.

There are a couple of ways you could accomplish this, but this will most likely be done via customization.

Just to set expectations, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

With that in mind, if you haven’t done so already, I would recommend reading our Themer’s guide. This will give you a sense of how making your own templates work.

The goal here will be to modify the list widget with a conditional for when it displays on the home page and probably applying a filter to the tribe_events_event_schedule_details() function for that scenario.

If you feel that is too involved to your liking, you can also hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
