Related Events showing all event categories

I’m running version 3.9 of events calendar pro and when you go into an event, the related events are showing all event categories, instead of the same category of the event you are viewing:

I followed the testing for conflicts guide here and it was still showing all events with the 2013 them activated and all non Events Calendar plugins deactivated.

Hi admin9787f,

Related posts aren’t just based on categories – they scan for events sharing the same tag(s), too, which seems to be what’s happening here – each related event I saw when I visited the URL you provided shared the “2015” tag.

Does that help/clarify things at all?
