Regular Ticket Customers – Sign Up / Login ?

Hi there,

Quick question RE; the actual payment process for customers –
We run regular events every week for the same customers – when they are proceeding to checkout, will they need to continually put their details in for each time they make a purchase?
Or is there a way for them to sign-up / login in so the system knows their details?

Any info or screen shots of checkout procedure would be great.

Hi Matt,

Great question!

Each of our ticketing plugins actually integrate with a leading WordPress ecommerce plugin (you can choose from Easy Digital Downloads, WooCommerce, Shopp or WP E-Commerce) and it is the ecommerce plugin which handles the checkout experience.

All are capable of letting users login and reuse their details, rather than forcing them to continually re-enter the same information, but for a better sense of how that specific aspect works it would be best to consult the docs for the ecommerce plugin you are most interested in using.

Though it specifically relates to WooCommerce Tickets, this getting started guide will give you a good sense of how it all pieces together on our end 🙂

Hi Barry,

Thank for the quick reply.

One last question, RE: Woocommerce tickets (as thats the one we plan on using) – once we purchase the plug-in, are the any additional costs? We don’t then need to pay for a woocommerce pluggin also?
(I have downloaded the WC plugin onto our theme and everything seems free..)

So, as I understand it; to get the WC ticket-system working via our events page, it’s simply once-off fee for the plug-in and that’s it!?

Hi Matt,

Right now our licenses expire after a year so you would need to renew WooCommerce Tickets after that point if you still want to benefit from official updates and support – but yes, other than that, the two other major components (The Events Calendar and WooCommerce) are free 🙂
