ParticipantBeing this my first post on this forum, I wish I would write something better here but after I’ve spent $500 for the full package I just can’t comprehend how nothing really works. I have so many issue that I don’t even know where to start.
I use the Avada theme (latest version) which seems to support the Event Calendar PRO
However these are some of the issues I’m facing:
MAIN EVENT PAGE
I can’t edit my main EVENTS page. It’s incomprehensible that is not possible to customize THE MAIN event container and other layout details.SHORTCODES
If I try to insert the shortcodes on empty pages, the layout looks broken and does not look like the same as the main layout from the EVENTS page. Are the shortocodes grabbing a different stylesheet than the default event page?
See here for example: https://www.worldtattooevents.com/upcoming-events/MAP
The map does not work, nor is showing up.FILTER BAR
It’s really ugly, clunky and slow. It’s actually embarrassing.
The date field does not work (nothing showing up).
If I choose to use the sidebar and horizontal view, the filter bar uses 100% width of the page overlapping the sidebar.
I can’t filter by month and location at the same time. So I bought the extra package hoping that I could get that out the extra filter. It’s not there either. Absolutely mind boggling.EVENTS VIEW
In the PHOTO view the featured picture does not show up. It looks like it’s not possible to customize some of the meta (like for example the country) on the photo view.I can go on and on and I have not even installed all the other plugins: just the PRO and FILTER BAR.
I have to manage 1000 events and I was looking for a professional system to run them as smoothly as possible.
I’ve opted for your system hoping that 500$ could buy some professional and time saving features. Unfortunately nothing more far from the truth.
In fact this looks to me a pretty basic and unusable product for a significant amount of money (to be paid again every year). I’m sorry guys but that’s not worth it for me. Not even remotely. Now I value my time (and yours) a lot and I don’t want to waste ages trying to fix something that should (at least partially) work out of the box.
Hence I did not even install the other add-ons and this already looks to me like a nightmare plugin to work with.
I would appreciate a full refund and I promise I will never use your product again.
Thank you,
-

ParticipantThe fact that after 24 hours, I still didn’t even get a reply after forking 500$ for your premium plugins, confirms me that yours it’s not a company I would like to depend on, for my most important function of my website (the event calendar).
Still waiting for a refund.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Alex,
I’m so sorry you’ve had such a poor experience with our plugins, and apologies on the delay time, but we don’t have weekend hours as a courtesy to our team.
We’d be happy to issue a refund. You’ll need to fill out our form here, and it should be issued within 24-48 hours.
I hope you find a solution that better suits your project needs!
Best,
Shelby 🙂
