Recurring Events with Variable Patterns

Hi

I need to programme courses which typically run for 6 or 7 months with a monthly weekend session but not on the same date every month. It might be first month 13th and 14th second month 20th 21st and the final session is usually a different length. I imagine I can use some smart combination of recurrence rules and exceptions but I wonder if you’ve got this covered as it must be a common requirement.

We do indeed have custom recurrence patterns as a feature in Events Calendar PRO. You can build patterns that exclude specific dates, weeks, months, and even years. It’s pretty flexible and sounds like it will fit what you’re looking for. If it doesn’t for some reason, we do offer a full refund on all purchases within 30 days and would be happy to take it back if something isn’t working as you’d expect.

Thanks for the response. I’ve actually bought the PRO version. I’m not actually looking for a refund so much as tips on how to do it. I’ll play around and see what happens. I do think though that some kind of built in feature for extensive events with varyin dates would be a good development
