ParticipantHi,
When we use recurring events only the event is shown on the first date. The recurring events are not shown.
I’ve looked at the settings and the box for only showing the first recurring even it not checked. So all events should be visible. When I click on “show all” next to recurring events, it also shows just 1 event.
Any idea on how to solve this?
Regards.

MemberHi Joost,
I’m sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing difficulties.
There does seem to be something odd happening here and I also notice you appear to have some customizations in place (such as custom event templates).
I can’t help but wonder if your theme, a customization or another plugin is conflicting here – have you been able to run through our standard troubleshooting steps? If not, it could be worth giving these a try.
I also wonder if we could focus on just one recurring event in particular and give me a better idea of what events I should expect to see on the /all/ page: could you perhaps link to some screenshots (in a private reply, if you prefer) of the recurrence pattern for a specific event?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Barry,
I noticed now that a few things are happening:
only 1 events is made, instead of multiple events when we use the recurring events. So when I say that the events happens yearly, ends after 5 times, only 1 event is created instead of the necessary 5.
Next to that, when we update to the newest version a lot of dates of events are set at the date of update. So the date jumps to this date of update, without any reason.
This can’t be a theme issue, since it is fully related to the Dashboard. I will try to disable plug-ins and see what happens.
Regards,
Joost

Definitely do try the troubleshooting steps.
I’d like to emphasize though that this could still be a theme conflict and you should not skip that step – theme code can and very often does load and run even in the admin environment.
