Obviously that functionality should already be available to me, right?
Yes! You are absolutely correct: Event Series is the correct option for creating a recurring event.
I know it’s subtle change, but we recently updated that in Version 4.4 because it’s setting the stage for a entire restructure we are doing around recurring events that will make managing a series of related events way cool and very flexible.
We talked about this a little bit in our 4.4 release notes, in case you’re interested. 🙂
