GuestHey there,
we are looking for a plugin to organize our events. We really like the idea of using “The Events Calendar Pro” but we have an issue. I know this has been discussed before but is it really a fact that you cannot add e.g. 5 totally different dates to ONE event?
I have a musician who plays at our location on April 21st 8pm, May 13, 7pm, July 8th, 6pm and so on. That means there is no logic in the date. Can’t I just add several dates to ONE event or must I really create the same event 5 times.
I hope there is a solution for my problem.
Thank in advance for your help and cheers from Berlin

MemberHi Nik,
Thanks for reachign out and for your interest in our products 🙂
Hopefully this feature has been added recently. Basically this let’s you add a ‘custom’ date to the recurring options, so hopefully you are covered now! No need to create 5 events anymore!
Please let me know if this is what you are looking for,
Cheers from Argentina,

GuestHey Nico,
thanks for your reply. Is it possible to see a screenshot of the new feature or to test the Pro Version somewhere. Maybe on your site. I have seen the Demo but once I try to add my own event it asks me to log in and of course I do not have login dates. This feature is really essential to us and if it works we will buy the full version immediately we just have to make sure it works for us.
Thanks again
BTW I lives in Argentina myself for a while 😉

MemberNik,
Thanks for following-up! I was setting up an example of the recurrence sample you’ve sent and I just realize there’s no way to change the event date using the ‘date’ recurrence option. To accomplish this you’ll need to create the recurrence as follows: https://cloudup.com/cuvIT-Go-GV – once the events are created you should ‘split them out of the series’ and then adjust each event time.
There’s an article on recurrence patters: PRO recurring events. The article needs an update to add the date option used in my example above which is new and hasn’t been added yet.
While we don’t have a trial period, you can go ahead and purchase the products for testing. If you decide they are not what you are looking for, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. For more information take a look at our refund policy.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you here,
Best,
NicoPS: that’s great! I still have Berlin in my list of cities to visit 😉
