ParticipantMy calendar was displaying correctly yesterday with a number of recurring events. However, today it has stopped showing the recurring events and now only shows the first instance.
I have checked whether the “checkbox” about this issue was correct and I believe it is correctly set to display all events of a series. So, I’m not sure how to solve this.

KeymasterHello again Matthew,
I’m sorry you are having that problem. Let me try to help you fix this.
Could you please send me a screenshot of
- the recurrence rules of the event
- the Recurring event instances setting on the General tab
Thanks,

ParticipantAs you can see from the screenshot, the “recurring” part is not showing up. I have clicked the recurring button a number of times and nothing happens. I have confirmed that my license key is still listed with the software.

KeymasterHello Matthew,
Thanks for sharing those screenshots. In the second one I see there are no recurrence rules set up. I take it that is the button that doesn’t work.
I see that WP and all our plugins are updated. I take it that the rest as well.
I would recommend you to to a test for plugin / theme conflict based on this guide here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
That should eliminate any conflicts and could shed a light on the issue. Please do the test and get back to me with the results. And we’ll take it from there. I’ll be waiting.
Cheers,

ParticipantHello Andreas,
Any ideas yet on my issue? I still have no recurring events displaying in my calendar. As a reminder, they used to display correctly, but stopped after I did some customizing. None of the customization stuff I did worked, so perhaps I need to reset the plugin somehow?matt

KeymasterHello Matt,
If the recurring events stopped after some customizing, then it is highly likely that the customizing did something bad. Can you undo the customizing and check if that helps?
What were actually the customizations you tried? Maybe that will bring us closer to what happened.
Resetting the plugin can be done but requires working in the database. If you are comfortable with that, then this is what you need to do: first you need to deactivate all your Events Calendar plugins, then you will need to delete all rows from your wp_options table that contain the string ‘tribe’.
Before doing all this I recommend that you do a full site and database backup, just in case.
Waiting for your feedback.
