Recurring Events Display

We have an issue we would like to resolve and just need to be pointed in the right direction if possible.

Currently with recurring events they appear under the day they started but not under the days there individually on and the first item for the event if its still relevant is the first date of the recurring event which is in the past.

Eg the standard result brings up a recurring event that started on july 8 and lists it under july 8 but no other days. Is there a way around this.
