I bought the Pro version of Events Calendar because 99% of my organization’s events are recurring; however, so far I’m really disappointed about how limited it is… and how clunky. Our events recur not very regularly. So it might be weekly, but with multiple exceptions, and having to put all those exceptions in is very time-consuming. Or, an event might recur the first and third Tuesday of each month, so none of the options of “Weekly” or “Monthly” work well for that.
I was thinking it would work more similarly to how Facebook recurring events, where you just select that dates you want. The end. Not choose “Weekly” or “monthly” and then have to add a million exceptions.
Can you please let me know if there’s an easier way to add recurring events like this, or if there’s one coming? If not, I will have to cancel my Pro version as this was supposed to be less time consuming, not more time-consuming.
