We are importing 4 calendars from Google Calendar to TEC Pro via iCal Importer. Tried both using the Private Link as well as an exported .ico file. Both method produces the same result.
There are a number of weekly events happening for my client and whenever those comes in, they come in all on the first date it happens. For example: “Gathering 1” happens every Saturday starting Sept 17th. After the import, instead of seeing this every Saturday, we see 200+ entries on Sept 17th but nothing after that initial date.
The site is running X theme on WP-Engine with all the latest update. (It’s a new site). You can see the calendar as it is now at: http://apchurch.wpengine.com/events/ (Look at Sept 17th and 18th)
Please let me know if you need any other information or credentials to go inside the backend.
Many thanks, we are trying to complete this project today.

Thanks for opening a separate thread, much appreciated, and thanks for sharing your system information.
To be able to look into the problem more deeply, could you share files or links to the calendars that are being imported with an error?
Thanks,

Thanks for your reply. I just created a brand new site, installed ONLY Modern Tribe plugins and imported the first calendar… if you look at SEPT 17 and 18, you’ll see there are hundreds of the same event in them.

I also recall you yourself mentioned you ran into this problem on another thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/recurrent-imports-not-working-google-calendar/#dl_post-1160004). Seems to be a similar problem?
September 15, 2016 at 1:38 pm #1164839AndrasKeymasterHi Kenneth,
Thanks for testing the imports. I did test them again and to my biggest surprise I could reproduce the issue with importing the first thread / file. It looks like we ran into a bug. I’m going to open an internal bugticket for this so our developers can take a look at it and come up with a fix.
The other thread you mentioned is a slightly different problem where we didn’t get to a resolution yet. We are still waiting for a reply from the thread owner.
I’m really sorry about this issue. I hope we can ship a fix for that very soon. Also, we have a new thing coming soon, the Event Aggregator, which basically combines all the importing possibilities. One of the guys ran your imports on it and they were imported just fine. So that could be a solution very soon.
Do you have any more questions regarding this topic?

This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
