ParticipantWe are experiencing a problem in which the Event Aggregator is bringing in duplicate events as well as not always including the description for each instance of the recurring event. (Please see attached screenshots)

KeymasterHi James,
I’m sorry to hear you’re running into this issue! Could you please send me a link to the calendar you’re using to import? Was this import running correctly before you ran into this issue, or is this a new import you just set up?
We just released a new version of The Events Calendar (4.6.4). Can you try updating and see if that makes a difference? If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantThe imports are still running daily, but the recurring events, as far as we can tell, have never brought in the “description” for ALL recurring events (some, seemingly random, instances of a recurring event include the description, and some do not).
We are already using version 4.6.4.

KeymasterHi James,
Thanks for sending those links! I tested them out and was seeing a few cases of the description not being imported for recurring events as you described. I logged an internal ticket for this and linked this thread to it so that you’ll be notified here as soon as we have an update.
I did not see any duplicate events coming in…could you please send me an example of a duplicate that you were getting so that I can look into that issue as well?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
