Recurring event function gone rogue

Please be aware that in attempting to complete a recurring event, what used to work, no longer does. Instead, when I enter “Sunday Morning Service” in the title, move down to the scheduling section, select time, Weekly, and the 1, with a one year out end point, every day, Sunday through Saturday fills in with the event. I down-reved to an earlier version 4.30.01 from August 9th and reinstalled from scratch, including the original eventscalendar, and tried several times to fix the problem to no avail. Even the downrev did the same thing. Please help as I am now restricted to enter each event one at a time, even though they are recurring.

Windows 10 Pro. I7 processor on Surface Laptop. I noticed others were
having problems with the recurring function. If you cannot solve this
quickly, I would appreciate a full refund so I can go buy another calendar
application. Thanks Jeremy. I downgraded back to your August 9th 2018
release.
