ParticipantHi, We dont seem to be able to add in recurring events as it just gives us the following message but doesnt do anything “Recurring event data is still being generated for this event. Don’t worry, you can safely navigate away – the process will resume in a bit in the background.”
The site is on WPEngine, and i have deactivated all other plugins and reverted to twentysixteen theme but that doesnt resolve the issue. I have also changed the recurring event settings to only go 6 months in advance.
Could you please look into why this is happening

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing troubles. Can you send a screenshot of the ‘Time & Date‘ section for a recurring event which doesn’t work properly? I would also set up a test site using the WordPress Twenty Seventeen theme and only our plugins, then see if you can reproduce the issue.

Attached is a screen shot of the date and time section. When we click on ‘Add another rule’ we get the message at the top saying that the recurring data is still being generated but nothing happens.
I have already tested the site on the default theme and with only the calendar plugins activated

Thank you for the update. Is this happening with all recurring events you’re attempting to create? Would you mind running through the Testing for conflicts guide, but this time add the following lines to your site’s wp-config.php file and let me know if you see any errors?
define('WP_DEBUG', true);
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );Lastly, the screenshot you shared with me of an event’s ‘Time & Date’ section doesn’t display the recurrence rules. Can you send over another screenshot, but this time with the entire ‘Time & Date’ section, including all recurring rules?
