Re: update 3.6 – Venue Website no longer appears or works

Since upgrading to Community events 3.6 I can no longer see the venue website. I see it in the admin – but not on the front end on the single event post pages.

I’m having a similar problem. I believe this update broke how the venue URL is displayed at the bottom of an event. Now the full html href is displayed instead of a clickable link. It is displayed properly on the venue page itself though.

Example at: http://holdenbeach.me/events/grand-opening-the-breathing-space/
But correct at: http://holdenbeach.me/venue/the-breathing-space/

I have the same effect – for existing venues. the link shows the code on the event post, but the link works on the venue page, http://www.childslife.ca/venue/royal-ontario-museum/

However, for a new venue, or if I add a weblink to an existing venue – the link just doesn’t show at all.

Hi all – sorry for the inconvenience. There is indeed an issue with the HTML for the venue website link being exposed – this was an oversight on our part and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Can you check out this workaround and see if that helps?
