Hi. I have a question.
i have a mini calendar shortcode displayed on a page displaying only 4 events due space limitations.
i have some recurrent events that happens all the days, but they are always showing first on the mini calendar so for the user it seems mini calendar doesnt work when he clic on any date because is always the same events.
i would like to display other events instead, or at least display random events in the mini calendar.
how can i do this?
thank you so much.

Thanks so much for reaching out!
One option that you have is to add a filter to that shortcode, so that you will only display events in a certain category or tag. This way, you won’t have to display that recurring event that appears on every day (if you don’t want it to). You can read more about that process here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-the-calendar-widget/
If you are looking for something else, you can customize the Calendar Widget with the help of our Themer’s Guide. You will want to look at this template: /plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/widgets/mini-calendar-widget.php

Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,

do you know a snippet to implement such functionality. i’m not a techy guy.January 5, 2018 at 11:52 am #1419146Jaime MarchwinskiKeymasterHi Rene,
