Show random event from today

Hi guys,

thank you a lot for these great plugins! We love it ?

My question:
Is it possible to let me show one random event for today (that people can decide to which event they will go out today by random)?

I found this:

It shows randomly the events, but even newer ones that in the next two weeks (as the code that so).

Would be a nice feature for our site!

I have taken the file you linked to and have modified it to fit within one of our extensions. I have also modified the date at your request to limit to just one day.

Keep in mind this is normally outside our scope of support but I am happy to help! You did the homework to get it started!!

thank you alot! Is working great!

I just put in
<?php echo the_post_thumbnail( ‘full’ );; ?>

to get the thumbnail in aswell.
