GuestHi! I represent an NPO that partners with Feeding America to help feed people struggling with hunger. We serve the over 80,000 people who are food insecure in our area. We are revising our site and have selected your calendar plugin for this redesign. I have two questions for you regarding the license before I purchase:
1. Is the $89 fee for The Event Calendar Pro license and support only good for one year? In other words, will we need to repurchase the license year after year?
2. I applied for the NPO option for the Pro version. I am happy to wait the necessary time for you to review my application. I was just wondering, if we were approved would we have to reapply every year or is it a one-time approval? Also, what would happen if we had to purchase a license in the meantime?
We just redesigned our site, and it should have gone live months ago but we didn’t know that our preexistsing calendar plugin doesn’t work with the new WordPress theme. We’ve since stalled the release of the site until we could find a plugin to replace our old calendar plugin. The Event Calendar was selected because it looks professional and works with the Divi Theme. But, I don’t want to stall the release of the site any longer because it directly impacts the people that we serve. I would like to release the new site within the next two days.
Thanks!

KeymasterHello Jessica,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to answer your questions.
1. The $89 license fee is for one year, so after the year is up you will need to renew your license if you would still like to receive updates and support for our premium plugins. You can find further details here in our support policy.
2. No, you don’t need to re-apply every year. It is a one-time approval.
If you purchase a license you will have 30 days to ask for a refund. There are more details on this in our refund policy.
I will check with my colleagues if they can look at your application soon.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Cheers,

KeymasterAn additional note I would like to point out, licenses received through the NPO program <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>do not</span> include support. In case you will require support you will need to purchase a license.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
