I have both The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar: Community Events installed on my site. All is working fine.
I see a regular “not existent page” in my visitor/security logs, always trying to access the same URL from the same IP address? It is trying to link to:
wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/resources/images/tribe-loading.gif
Is this suspicious or a concern for any reason? This is a non-existent directory but I was just wondering why this might be occurring?
Thanks in advance of any advice you can provide.

That’s definitely interesting. I don’t see that as a major concern from a security standpoint. At the same time, I’m interested in why that directory doesn’t exist because it should be part of default package that comes with the plugin. Did you happen to remove it at some point? If not, I wonder if reinstalling the plugins with fresh copies would reintroduce the directory/file and clear up that entry from the logs.

Thanks for the advice. I will try a reinstall. I have definitely *not* remove anything so not sure why the directory is not there?
I have both the-events-calendar and the-events-calendar-community-events installed and in BOTH installations, the only three sub-directories I see are:

Good question about reinstalling. Here’s a good article about manually updating the plugins that should help out. You can grab the latest version of The Events Calendar on WordPress.org and the latest version of Community Events here on this site by logging int and heading to My Account > Downloads.
